Our Story: The Lightbulb Moments
Founded in 1969, Royal Tech Lighting had one goal in mind, to provide the best light to our customers. We started by selling the highest quality standard light bulbs and as our business grew, so did the Royal Tech reputation for higher standards. With the introduction of LED lights, Royal Tech Lighting shifted its product base, manufacturing energy-efficient LED bulbs under its own brand. The Royal Tech Lighting brand became synonymous with safety, quality, and efficiency as we lit up homes and businesses while lessening lighting costs. Today, some 55+ years later, that same mission — of providing only the best for our customers — continues to fuel every light we sell.
With a finger on the fuse, Royal Tech Lighting has a vision of expanding into innovative lighting technology. As we lead the way with exceptional products, superior safety measures, and cutting-edge technology, we are committed to continuing the way it all began — with the highest standards and the brightest lights
Royal Tech Lighting — lighting the way with quality, safety, and innovation.
FAQs
Why should I choose LED bulbs over traditional incandescent bulbs?
LED bulbs are highly energy-efficient, using up to 85% less electricity than incandescent bulbs. They last significantly longer (up to 10,000 hours or more) and are better for the environment due to reduced energy consumption and lower heat output.
How can LED bulbs save me money?
With lower energy consumption and longer lifespans, LED bulbs can reduce electricity bills and minimize replacement costs, making them a cost-effective solution for any home or business.
Are LED bulbs compatible with all fixtures?
Most LED bulbs are compatible with standard light fixtures, but always check the base size and product specifications before purchasing. Specialized fixtures may require specific types of LED bulbs.
How do I choose the right wattage replacement?
Look for the wattage listed on your old incandescent bulb. Our LED bulbs clearly indicate the replacement wattage and actual wattage used. For instance, a “60W replacement” LED bulb will use 8.5W of power.
Are LED bulbs safe for the environment and non-toxic?
Yes! LED bulbs do not contain hazardous materials like mercury and other harmful substances found in older lighting technologies. This allows for energy efficiency, reducing your carbon footprint and making LEDs safer for homes, offices, and the environment.
Do LED bulbs emit heat?
LED bulbs remain cool to the touch even after long use because most of the energy is converted to light instead of heat, unlike incandescent or halogen bulbs.
What is the warranty on RTL Lighting products?
We offer a full 3-year manufacturer warranty. If a product stops working during this time, contact us with proof of purchase for a replacement. Terms and conditions apply.
